Boeing says in advanced talks to sell 777X freighters

DUBAI, Nov 13 (Reuters) - Boeing (BA.N) is in cutting edge conversations to sell a proposed new vessel adaptation of its 777X traveler plane, a top leader said on Saturday.
The U.S. planemaker is ready to dispatch what might be the world's biggest twin-engined cargo plane as European adversary Airbus (AIR.PA) looks for purchasers for an A350 freight adaptation.
Boeing is also sticking to plans to deliver its delayed 777X passenger version in 2023, Ihssane Mounir, senior vice president of commercial sales and marketing, said.
Speaking at a news conference on the eve of the Dubai Airshow, Mounir said a recovery in commercial flying had achieved a "strong foothold" after COVID-19 lockdowns.
Qatar Airways has said freely it is in dealings with Boeing on the conceivable acquisition of a 777X vessel, while FedEx (FDX.N) is generally considered to be another possible early purchaser.
Vessel traffic has expanded as traveler planes that commonly convey about portion of airborne merchandise were grounded by the pandemic.
Boeing (BA.N) is in the interim "drawing near" to continuing conveyances of its 787 Dreamliner in the wake of suspending them to manage creation defects, Mounir said, while focusing on the timetable relied upon progressing chats with controllers.
